The Rise Keys RK-1 modernizes any MIDI keyboard. Plug in the keys you already own — a controller from last week, a board from 1998, anything that sends MIDI — and it becomes a current instrument. It fixes wrong notes in under 10 milliseconds, before you hear them. It works the sustain pedal you never bought. It teaches you with 83 lessons across 12 genres, and proves you're improving. The better you play, the lighter it touches.

The Rise Keys piano
roll: notes in blue, a corrected note in green with the red original beneath

The dashboard, running. Blue is what you played, green is a note the box corrected, red is where your finger actually landed.

What it does

  • Built-in speaker — plug in a keyboard and hear music, nothing else to buy. Headphones auto-mute it.
  • 135 instrument sounds and 9 effects — 25 of them original FM voices generated live inside the box. A silent controller becomes a complete instrument.
  • Corrects wrong notes in under 10 ms — and steps back automatically as you improve. Correction is fully disabled during every graded lesson, so scores are honestly yours.
  • Automatic sustain pedalling that follows your harmony, even on keyboards with nowhere to plug a pedal in.
  • 83 lessons across 12 genres, a chord trainer, a looper, an arpeggiator, and stage visualizers.
  • AUDIO IN to play along with any track; a real sustain-pedal socket; 5-pin MIDI IN and MIDI OUT, with a hardware bypass so your rig keeps working even if the box loses power.
  • Dashboard in any browser on your own Wi-Fi — no app, no account, no cloud, no subscription, ever.
  • Numbered and initialed — first-run units carry a signed certificate the box itself verifies.

Before you order

Will it work with your keyboard? Almost certainly — anything with a USB TO HOST port or 5-pin MIDI sockets. Check yours with the compatibility checker, or email us the model and we'll confirm before you buy.

Teachers

If you teach piano or keyboard, the RK-1 is $159. Email hello@risekeys.com from the address you teach from and we'll send a code — how it works.

Retail price at launch: $199. Early-adopter price: $179. Free software updates for life; we sell a box, not a membership.

About the photographs. The RK-1 is in pre-production, so the product images here are design renderings rather than photographs of a finished unit. Size, proportions, controls and every socket are accurate. The finish will differ: cases are 3D printed, so the real surface is matte and lightly textured. Full detail.

Regulatory notice. This device has not been authorized as required by the rules of the Federal Communications Commission. It is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained. Orders reserve your unit and your price; no unit is delivered until the RK-1 completes its FCC Part 15B declaration, and your order is refundable in full at any point before it ships.
